All Ulster University students are members of the Students' Union (UUSU) - a hub for social events, entertainment, trips and activities.

The Sports Union is part of UUSU and coordinates over 65 sports clubs across the campuses offering a range of activities from archery to volleyball etc.

Supporting you

UUSU is an important part of our student support network.

The Union provides free, confidential advice and information on issues such as study, accommodation, how to deal with stress etc. - on any aspect of student life at Ulster University.

Student voice

UUSU represents the student population on all University committees, ensuring the student voice is heard; giving feedback on teaching and facilities.

Clubs and societies

Clubs and societies are an integral part of the Students' Union and university life.

Get involved in meeting new people, having fun and trying something new while gaining valuable experience, skills to enhance your CV.  Whether you are interested in athletics, comic books, debating, politics or surfing (and everything in-between), all Ulster students can join.

The UUSU Volunteering Centre supports students who want to lend a hand in their local community or Students' Union.

Volunteers may be passionate about social change, seeking to gain valuable experience, or just want to meet new friends and have fun.

You can also gain accreditation for your volunteering through the Ulster EDGE Award and Millennium Volunteers.
